The ADDIE S CABIN is between Ouray and Silverton Colorado at 11,000' on top of Red Mountain Pass. Located just off the famous Million Dollar Highway (Hwy 550) in the heart of the San Juan Mountains. (See Link to Map above)

Fully equipped kitchen, solar-powered “off Grid”, south-facing deck, an abundance of large windows, with spectacular panoramic high alpine views, warm, dry, quiet - a year-round escape.

This is a "cabin", remotely located in the mountains, it is NOT fancy, this isn't Telluride or Vail!!  Please read the details. It might be just what your are looking for.  BUT it is NOT for everyone.  This rental is NOT your typical, Air b&b, or vacation rental. You must be willing to CLEAN the cabin before you leave (thus there is no cleaning fee), you MUST BRING your own linen or sleeping bags and towels, you MUST be willing to take your TRASH with you when you leave (you brought it so you should be able to take it with you).  There is an outhouse it should be clean but can sometimes have human odor.  There are insects, mice, and dust in the mountains and sometimes they get inside, they are controlled but they do live there. Be aware this is high altitude and some people do not feel well after sleeping at this altitude. IF ANY OF THIS bothers you please don't stay with us.

Nearby: Ouray, Ridgway, Telluride, Durango, and Silverton offering shopping, music and film festivals, mine tours, train rides, museums, and more. Endless outdoor recreation in some of the Rockies’ most beautiful mountains. Easy vehicle access, spring-fed drinking water, and a hot shower.

The downstairs bedroom has a Queen Bed and treetop views. 4 upstairs bedrooms: 2 rooms with Queens, 1 room with Queen & 1 twin, 1 room with 2 twins. Downstairs living area, the kitchen is fully equipped with propane stove, refrigerator and all cooking utensils. The dining area has a large dining table. The Bathroom has a sink and shower, and mountain views. The toilet is in an Outhouse with easy deck access. And a large south-facing deck with a gas barbecue.

There is limited WiFi, Starlink.  This is "limited" by a timer because Starlink uses a lot of continuous power. There is almost NO cell service at the cabin, but you are able to use WiFi calling, and there is a land line there for emergencies or local calls.

Great value, affordable family rates, children free. Perfect for a couple, single-family, two families, and small groups.

15 Minutes from Silverton and 30 minutes from Ouray

NO LINEN SERVICE. You must bring your own sleeping bags or bedding, towels.

NO CLEANING SERVICE. You must clean when you arrive and before you leave the cabin. If you do not clean everything or follow the "before you leave" instructions you may loose your damage deposit and be charged for cleaning.

NO Heating elements; coffee pots, hair dryers etc.

ONLY INCLUDE The # of adults in the # of guests, do not include children

REFUND POLICY Your dates will be refundable IF (and only for) the dates that are rebooked by someone else (see rental agreement for details).
