Do I really need 4 wheel drive to get to the Mountain Belle?

The road to the MB is dirt, steep, although usually not very rough. It can be slippery when wet. We recommend 4 wheel drive. However it is very possible to get to the cabin in 2 wheel drive if you have some clearance, good tires and power in your vehicle ie: 2 wheel drive truck or sport utility. 4 wheel drive is especially useful to get out of the drive way of the cabin as it is steep. You can park at the beginning of the driveway and avoid this.

How do you get water at the Mountain Belle?

We keep 5 gallon containers at the MB. Take them down to the Artist cabin (about 10 minutes) and fill them with good drinkable spring water. There is a hose outside the Artist cabin at the beginning of the driveway just off the highway. There will be a map with your directions and at the cabin.

Is there a TV or internet service?
